Scaddan

Wearing guernsey #23, Scadden played 3 games for Carlton and kicked 1 goal in our 1914 Premiership Year. Through 1914 it appears as though Scadden shared the guernsey with Arthur Harrison, who also wore guernsey #23 in 1914, albeit for a single game.

Scadden was recruited from South Bendigo.

"They have plenty of players at Carlton, and the ranks have been reinforced by the arrival of Albert Scadden one of the Bendigo champions." (Argus May 22 p13 1914)

The Prahran Telegraph May 1 1915 reported that Scadden from Carlton had been recruited by Prahran.

Albert Cecil Scadden died in Bendigo in 1967 aged 80.
