Velardo

Amelia Velardo joined the Game Changers on a two-season contract, coming to the Club from Collingwood in-between season six and seven. The 20-year-old is an exciting prospect, playing primarily as a midfielder, with strong attributes around stoppages and movement around the ball. Velardo has played a total of 11 games for Collingwood over two seasons and will be looking to contribute to an already strong midfield alongside Mimi Hill and Maddy Guerin. Draft history: Pick No.25 in the 2020 NAB AFL Women’s Draft, originally recruited from the Western Jets.

Recruited from Keilor (Vic)/Western U18/Collingwood.
