Read

Landing at Carlton as part of a player swap leading into 2023, the young small forward returned to Victoria after a season with Fremantle having been drafted in 2022. Read was the recipient of the Calder Cannons’ best and fairest in her draft year in 2021, demonstrating her strong marking ability as well as her class at ground level. Now at the Game Changers, Read will have an AFLW debut in her sights as part of a new era at IKON Park.

At the end of the 2024 season, the Blues have made two changes to their AFLW list, delistiing Marianna Anthony and Tahlia Read. Read did not feature in Navy Blue due to injuries after being traded from Fremantle at the end of 2022.
