Biography
Russell played 16 games for Carlton commencing in Season 1922. He kicked 2 goals for the Blues. He was recruited from VFA club North Melbourne.
Interestingly, he wore guernsey #2 - a jumper worn by the only other Russell, and a J.Russell at that, to play for Carlton in Jordan Russell.
