Ballarat, Monday
"Mr. W. Davis, an old time Carlton footballer and bicycle rider, now 84 years of age, still rides a bicycle daily to and from work.
Mr. Davis retains the football uniform in which he played for Carlton. It has a chamois leather band across the front. He has been invited to visit Melbourne and be photographed with other veterans of the team.
Mr. Davis was "discovered" by the Old Colonists Association last week, when the jubilee celebrations took place.
