The Adelaide newspaper the Express and Telegraph's report on the Carlton vs Adelaide match on the M.C.G. mentions Carlton player Archie McIntyre.
"Archie McIntyre obtained a chance that might have resulted in a score for Carlton ....."
Perhaps a misprint and should have been a score for Adelaide?

1887 CFC Annual Report, McIntyre scored 8 goals during the season.

1887 The Weekly Times April 30 reporting on new players at Carlton said McIntyre was recruited from Britannia. Same player?
